 The Beginning
she met an American airman and crew chief for the US Air Force that her destiny would begin to unfold. The two would marry, and live in Italy together before moving to Red Bluff, California and later to Eugene, Oregon. Through their time together they grew apart and realized their lives were pulling them in opposite directions. In 2006 they peacefully agreed to go separate ways and are still close friends today.
Benjamin was born and raised as a Christian in San Jose, California, the heart of the Silicon Valley. His father David Foley was a network architect for Tandem Computers before the Internet had gone mainstream. His mother Esther Foley had the privilege of staying home with her two children Tammy and Benjamin. Later she would return to school and complete her degree in anthropology.
At a young age Benjamin became obsessed with the concept of love. At age 6, Benjamin learned

 Prologue
a Bible verse from 1 John 4:8 which states "Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.". This quotation became the catalyst for Benjamin's determination to find love in all its forms, Agape, God's love, or unconditional love being the main goal. His perseverance was unmatched, willpower off the charts, nothing was impossible in his mind. However, living in the Silicon Valley, a place full of hate, rage, greed, lust, dishonesty, and the abuse of power, Benjamin fell into a great sorrow. The sadness he felt for this valley led him to search for a plan to escape California.
For years Benjamin tried to get out of California, but every attempt, every job, every chance he had to escape his birthplace and explore the country failed. Every attempt to explore the depths of love ended In pain, yet somehow he managed to shape this pain into momentum. He would not quit. He took what he learned and moved forward. In 1999, Benjamin met
