The Possible Impossible

Everything he loved was taken from him, everything he cared about was placed at a distance and out of reach. Life showed him just how hard it could be. Benjamin moved into his own rental and lived on his own for the first time in his life. It only took a few months to have the home he rented taken from him by a freak storm that blew the shingles off the roof and filled the walls with water which caused the light sockets to leak. He attempted to apply to other apartments and rental homes only to be denied time and time again. The loss of his home in California and the debts that came from divorce made him untouchable by any lender or property manager. He had found the bottom of his well.

For months he had felt this was a test of faith. But he realized the real lesson was not how messed up life can get, but how easy it is to overcome such huge obstacles if you just stop believing in God... And start Knowing God. To believe is to doubt, to know is to be doubtless.

Love Blossoms

Benjamin spent many nights praying that God would help him out of the situation he put himself in. In his deepest moment of despair, Benjamin pleaded with God to make the pain and misery go away. The morning after he felt like the world had gone black, his sensation of touch changed, things that once felt soft were no longer soft, in fact they didn't feel at all. It was like the whole world became numb. Nothing could touch him, the hurt stopped.

This is when Benjamin felt his life had changed its course. He had be stripped of the world impossible, his self inhibitions were torn down and ripped away, the world which before seemed unbearable, became the foundation of his unswaying desire to stop trying to control his life, and give it to God and see where he takes him. Within a few days of being homeless, and no other options left available, he was presented with a life line. A familiar face re-entered his life and gave him a chance.
